Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Have a minimum high school grade point average of 3.0
Gain admission and enroll at Adelphi University, as a new freshman, for the Fall 2014
Major in communications, with a concentration in Journalism

Application Requirements:

Submit one letter of recommendation that speaks to your writing abilities*
Submit a journalistic sample of your work, such as a news story, article, video, Blog, etc*.
Using the space provided in the application below, respond to one of the following essay topics in 500 words or less:
- Please discuss an ethical problem you confronted as a high school journalist and explain how you resolved this issue.
- What do you think are the major ethical battlegrounds that student journalists are currently facing, and how would you act in the face of these issues?
